Fishing is not only an American favorite pastime, but it is an activity that supports mental wellness.

The Fishing Therapy Program is not about the fish – it is about taking time to unplug, mentally relax together, share a laugh, enjoy being outdoors all while learning a positive recreational skill.

Developed by Compassionate Care therapist, Laura Scott Crusing, MA LCPC, CADC, MISAII, who possess over 25 year of clinical experience, the Fishing Therapy Program is 4-6 hour program that includes a guided fishing experience with experienced guides to help your every need. We can even provide the equipment for you .

Fishing Therapy Program may provide numerous therapeutic benefits for those living with a variety of mental health issues such as:

The Fishing Therapy Program fee will include the use of equipment, fishing license, and fishing kit.

The fishing therapy program includes a fishing license, fishing starter bag and equipment. Each program is led by experienced fishing guides who provide one-on-one counseling and a 60-minute process group.
